STIHL MS 261 CM (professional)

The STIHL MS 261 CM chainsaw is the top of the category in the 50 cc professional segment, it has a displacement of 50.2 cc with a weight of 4.9 kg and a power of 4.1 Hp (3.0 Kw).

The engine crankcases are made entirely of aluminum and is equipped with M-Tronic technology, which automatically regulates the carburetion in any condition.

It also has the possibility of regulating the flow rate of the chain oil via a special screw.

STIHL MS 271 (semi-professional)

The STIHL MS 271 chainsaw has a displacement of 50.2 cc and a power of 3.5 Hp (2.6 Kw) with a weight of 5.6 Kg.

The crankcases are made of composite material (ABS), it does NOT have M-Tronic technology but a traditional carburettor and it is not possible to adjust the oil flow.
